He is also the founder of Finance Think – Economic Research & Policy Institute, Skopje, a prominent and influential economic think tank. He holds a PhD from Staffordshire University, UK. He published widely on issues related to development, labor markets, and evaluation of the effects of economic policies, with a strong focus on transition economies. Petreskis served Career Integration Fellow of CERGE-EI in Prague (2012-2015), while currently serves PEP Research Fellow.
