Australia paid out $27bn of pandemic stimulus to businesses that did not meet criteria

The Australian Treasury has revealed it paid out $27bn (£14.6bn) in Covid-19 support payments to businesses that did not meet the criteria, but said it did not ask for the money back to protect the economic recovery.
